Harish Ram Sai

FORMER RESEARCH ASSOCIATE

Harish Ram Sai was a former Research Associate at the Centre for Policy Research, and part of the State Capacity Initiative. He is engaged with research on the impact of governance and policy on the informal sector, specifically agricultural markets. He is part of CPR’s COVID-19 research team, and has been involved with assisting the Government of Punjab with data analysis and remedial testing strategies.

His research interests lie at the intersection of gender, urban and social policy. Most recently, he examined women’s labour force participation in relation to mobility in the Hindi Belt. Previously, he has worked on projects that study the state of housing in India, and religious segregation in NCR. Harish completed his undergraduate education from Ashoka University, majoring in English and minoring in Political Science.
