Gurkaran Singh was the Learning and Development Manager at Accountability Initiative (AI).
Before joining AI, he was working as Head of Programs – India for Institute H21, a Czech Republic-based non-profit working to improve citizen engagement in governance. He has also worked with Video Volunteers as a consultant, and more recently served as a growth advisor to Strawcture Eco, a social impact start-up which promotes the concept of a circular economy in the construction sector.
Gurkaran has been an SBI Youth for India Fellow in rural Tamil Nadu where he addressed the problem of youth employability through skill training. He started his career as a corporate media professional at HCL Technologies.
He is an alumnus of the University of Delhi and the Indian Institute of Mass Communication in Delhi.
